The Mercatus Center at George Mason University seeks a dynamic and motivated individual to join the Academic and Student Programs team as a paid, part-time intern for the spring semester. We have a flexible, professional, open office environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurship and provides substantial opportunity for professional growth. This position is based at the George Mason University Fairfax campus.

Responsibilities include:
-Provide administrative, operations management, and research support for Academic and Student Programs.
-Assist in office management for the Fairfax office, including day-to-day office operations including but not limited to: facilities maintenance, office and kitchen supply inventory stock, and presenting a professional-office appearance.
-Assisting in compiling reading materials and mailings for the ASP fellowship programs.
-Updating content for the website.

Requirements include:
-Excellent writing and editing skills
-Demonstrated ability to manage and complete several projects simultaneously
-Interest in classical liberalism, economics, and public policy strongly preferred
