National Taxpayers Union and Foundation (NTU/NTUF) is seeking a Creative Content Associate to assist the Director of Communications in managing the digital side of its communications, outreach, and advocacy efforts. Job duties will include creating digital products and graphics for NTU/NTUF’s website, updating social media accounts, graphic design of reports and products, maintaining and managing NTU/NTUF’s email lists and digital outreach efforts, facilitating and maintaining vendor relationships pertaining to NTU/NTUF’s information technology and web services, and overseeing the maintenance and administration of internal technology needs.

Other duties may include identifying new content opportunities, exploring ways to repurpose existing content throughout the site, monitoring website traffic, responding to website feedback, and implementing changes to the site's layout and content based on website analytics and usability testing. In addition, the Creative Content Associate will work with the Communications Department to create and maintain a content calendar to ensure regular content on the website throughout the year. This role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion.

The ideal candidate will have one to three years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and work experience. The following skills and qualities are necessary to be successful in this entry-level position:

-Strong understanding of web design and knowledge of graphic manipulation through the use of editing software
-Experience with programming
-High level of social media literacy
-Ability to take the initiative to be creative and collaborate with all departments to test and constantly improve content
-Passionate about advocating for lower taxes, less spending, and free markets
- Strong verbal and written communications skills to be able to effectively convey NTU’s message to diverse stakeholders
-Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
