Program Director for Higher Education

The Program Director for Higher Education will advance the Foundation’s mission through the development and implementation of strategy for the higher education program. The ideal Program Director candidate will be well-versed in classical liberal thought and core economic concepts, comfortable with scholars and academics, experienced in higher education, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated.

The Program Director for Higher Education will:
• Help build strategic portfolio of research and education projects that contribute to the understanding of how free societies advance the well-being of mankind
• Manage existing relationships with scholars and all university-based programs
• Help drive the creation of new university-based academic centers and help with the development of established academic centers
• Manage Program Officers and potentially one or two Koch Associates

The ideal candidate will have:
• 7+ relevant experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
• Graduate degree in economics, policy, education, political science, or a related field is preferred
• Experience with in-depth knowledge of core economic/market concepts
• Experience in or related to higher-education (including university, academic center, policy, non-profit, or teaching experience)
• Demonstrated management experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, high sense of urgency, and a passion for liberty
