This role will provide direct administrative support to the Senior Vice President of the department with light support to the rest of the team. As an Executive Assistant in this role you will be responsible for managing and scheduling calendars of communications activities, drafting correspondence, coordinating travel, and managing special projects. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of communications and administrative experience. Experience working on the Hill is a plus! If selected for this position, you can expect a salary between $45,000 - $50,000 with a generous benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct administrative support to the SVP of Public Affairs and Communications
• Provide departmental support with meeting scheduling and logistics
• Draft correspondence and memos
• Coordinate calendars of communications activities
• Assist with website postings and management
• Other special projects as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-3 years of experience, preferably with experience on the Hill
• Experience with communications work
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Impressive organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively
• High level of professionalism
