The Mercatus Center at George Mason University seeks a part-time Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team. The Finance Assistant will work under the supervision of the Manager of Financial Operations and will support program teams and other colleagues on various projects with Mercatus Center, as well as providing shared service functions for our sister organization, the Institute for Humane Studies

Responsibilities

Scanning and Filing
Data entry
Monitoring and collecting timesheets semi-monthly
QuickBooks records maintenance
Excel and SharePoint document management
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail
High school degree
Experience with Microsoft Excel desired
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Experience with QuickBooks preferred
