If you have a passion, desire, and talent for fundraising, you could join this effort as Atlas Network’s Institutional Relations Manager and take ownership of stewarding and expanding our relationships with charitable foundations and corporate supporters.

Atlas Network is in a strong growth phase, particularly as it relates to our Doing Development Differently campaign to demonstrably decrease poverty through free market reforms. The Institutional Relations Manager will play a key role in fueling this growth through identification of and securing gifts from new sources of support. This includes traditional free-market supporters and politically neutral poverty alleviation philanthropists.

If hired, you will have the opportunity to work with leading free-market institutions while pioneering new approaches to pitch out mission to new communities of potential supporters. This is a job for the ambitious, creative, and hardworking.

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintenance of Atlas Network’s current foundation and corporate relationships

- Management of all report and proposal deadlines and benchmarks
Building relationships with institutional staff to ensure an open and positive dialogue
- Writing compelling proposals and reports
-nWorking proactively with other teams within Atlas Network to assemble necessary data, testimonials, and financial information necessary for proposals and reports

Securing new sources of institutional support

Help build the strategy for institutional support growth
- Researching new potential sources of major support, build plans for how to build a relationship with them
- Crafting eye-catching and compelling proposals and letters of intent
Ideal Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a track record of:

-A sophisticated understanding of the ideas of freedom at the heart of Atlas Network's mission
-Strong international cultural literacy
-Highly organized and efficient with strong attention to detail
-Strong writing performance, particularly grant writing
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills
-Robust data management (experience with Salesforce preferred)
-Strong skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
-Setting and achieving ambitious goals
-An entrepreneurial mindset focused on constant improvement and growth

Location: Atlas Network is based in Washington, D.C., but we will consider remote work for exceptional candidates.
