The Institute for Humane Studies seeks a program producer to join our intensive education team. This role would involve working closely with academic partners to conduct extracurricular educational events on campuses across the United States. Ideal candidates will possess a firm, interdisciplinary grasp of classical liberal ideas and at least 1 year of experience in liberty-advancing non-profits or in the field of higher education. They must have prior experience managing projects, the ability to drive timelines to meet deadlines, and an unwavering attention to detail. They should be comfortable working side by side with faculty to craft educational programs.

This position will be located at our office in Arlington, VA and requires traveling to school campuses throughout the year.

Key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Pitching program ideas on topics in classical liberalism
Collaborating with faculty to create short educational programs for students
Assessing and refining project proposals in collaboration with faculty partners
Directing on-site programming at college campuses throughout the school year
Maintaining cost effectiveness by tracking expense and budget information for the program
Reporting on program success
Working with a cross-functional group to execute programs
Engaging intellectually with participants and academics at campus events
