The Institute for Justice—the National Law Firm for Liberty—seeks an entrepreneurial and detail-oriented self-starter to fill the role of Salesforce Administrator. The core skillsets for this position will be excellent technical and communication skills. The Salesforce Administrator will work directly with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to understand their needs administer and enhance the system accordingly. This person will serve as the main contact for SF users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training, and will be responsible for making and overseeing both major and minor changes to the system.


Oversee Management of Salesforce Organization Wide

Regularly gather and analyze changing user needs and feedback
Conduct User Training and develop training materials
Participate in Salesforce communities, events, and user groups to stay up-to-date on latest developments
Maintain Salesforce Certification
Create and run reports as requested by senior management and non-Salesforce users
Maintain Integrity of Function

Serve as gatekeeper for any requested system changes, utilizing sandbox environment for testing
Manage releases and 3rd party apps
Oversee change management team; convene team as needed to discuss changing needs, resolve conflicts between competing needs
Troubleshoot issues
Maintain Integrity of Data

Oversee bulk data import and export
Recommend and perform regular data hygiene routines as needed or requested

Bachelor’s Degree
Salesforce Administrator Certification
3-5 years of Salesforce administration, reporting, and CRM experience
Extensive experience with Salesforce Pardot or other major email marketing solutions
Extensive experience with eCommerce implementations and related third-party apps
Experience with Nonprofits (NPSP) is a plus

The ability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others to achieve institutional goals
An interest in libertarian/conservative principles
