The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation seeks a Senior Communications Manager to join a growing public outreach program with the aim of highlighting the injustices of forced unionism and generating media coverage for the Foundation’s 200+ cases each year defending workers from those injustices.
Successful candidates will be self-driven, organized, and have experience planning and implementing public relations strategies. The Senior Communications Manager’s duties include coordinating responses to media inquiries, drafting and placing op-eds, writing press releases and generating earned media. Additional writing tasks may include drafting newsletter articles, talking points and some direct mail copywriting. Outstanding writing and communications skills are essential, as is a strong commitment to limited government, free markets and individual liberty. Though not required, experience with WordPress, HTML, social media strategy, desktop publishing programs and/or graphic design software is a plus.
Candidates should have at least two years of relevant job experience.
